COST: Quotes are based on the time taken to edit or rewrite your documents. An hourly rate is used and a range of costs given for longer documents, as it is difficult to determine exactly how long it will take. Number of words or pages completed each hour can vary according to complexity and level of editing required. A sample of the document will usually be requested for a quote; and a sample edit can also be provided, as required.
(No charge is made for short meetings, phonecalls or email preparation.)
CONFIDENTIALITY: All documents sent to Eyeline Editing are handled with a high degree of confidentiality. The content will not be discussed with anyone; if another party related to the editorial or writing process is to be consulted on any matter while working on the document, this will only be done with the client’s full understanding and permission. If required, a non-disclosure agreement form can be signed before work commences.
